FENLAND CONTRACTORS FOR RIBA AWARD WINNERS

Fenland Flat Roofing of Cambridge, one of Howard Capital Partners invested companies, have now been roofing contractors for three of architecture’s top award winning projects.

Sainsbury-laboratoryThis year the prestigious Stirling Prize, for architecture’s highest accolade from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), went to the Sainsbury Laboratory at Cambridge University.

Past winners included the American Air Museum at Duxford and the Accordia residential development in Brooklands Avenue, Cambridge. On all three projects Fenland were roofing contractors.

Andy Bacon, MD of Fenland who employs 50 people, commented on other projects currently under way; “There is a very nice project in London, The Maurice Wohl Institute, a clinical neuroscience building. Flying the flag for Cambridge, we have been working on the new development on the old Parkside Fire Station site, the cb1 redevelopment near the station, the Great Kneighton development at Trumpington and the Cambridge Riverside development for Berkeley Homes near Elizabeth Way Bridge in the city.”
